FiveCurrents and Executive Producer Scott Givens Win Prestigious ISEMS Award for RIO 2007 Ceremonies

On 31 October 2007, FiveCurrents won top honors at the inaugural International Sports Event Management and Security Awards, held in Wembeley Stadium, London. “We are delighted to have won the first ISEMS Award,” said FiveCurrents President and RIO 2007 Executive Producer Scott Givens. “We were excited to make the short list, and coming here tonight, as seeing the other amazing and talented teams vying for the award, we are thrilled to have won. We are honored.”

Other nominees included the team who produced the Asian Games Ceremonies in Doha, and the Ryder Cup team.

The RIO 2007 Ceremonies were held in July 2007, to rave international reviews:
